3400 is home

Picked up the 3400 yesterday and it's in the driveway being loaded with our gear. While I emotionally miss my 3670 (she was a great rig ) I am happy with the new unit and look forward to many years of good service - I hope!

The check-out went smoothly and only had two significant problems:
1 - The central vacuum was not connected electrically -
the cord and plug was laying in the bottom of the cabinet. The
technician doing the walk-through said I would have to use an
extension cord to plug it in. I told him.....I DON'T THINK SO.
I asked him to contact Keystone, he did, and Keystone
instructed him as to where the recpticle could be found to plug
in the unit - FIXED!
2 - Found the TV antenna crank handle to be wobbling when
raising and lowering the antenna - internal rod was bent.
technician straighten - FIXED
3 - Unit was winterized so I was not able to check out all the
plumbing myself. The technician had conducted a flood test
(filled all the tanks to capacity) and check all plumbing
connection for leaks. He had to tighten one connection under
the bathroom sink

The unit towed very good and all else looks great. Now if the slides don't leak I should be a happy camper!

Congratulations on the 3400. We picked ours up in October and 4 days later took it to Florida with 3 year old grand daughter. Only a couple of small problems which were fixed on our return. We love the 3400 and hope you love yours as much.

Congrats on your new rig!

Maybe someday I'll be able to make a report on my new 3400.
BUT, first I gotta convince the boss we need to upgrade.

Sharon and Bob - thanks for the congrats and good luck with your rig too.Let us know how you make out with it.

DiananColin - Glad to hear your first trip in the 3400 was successful
and you are happy with the rig that's good info for me.

Fla Native - I hope your problems get taken care of by Montana. Their customer focus was one of the reasons I stayed with them. Thanks for your good wishes.

Thanks to all for best wishes. It's suppose to rain today here on the east coast so I'll have a chance to check how weather tight it is.

It's a keeper - been raining here for about 8 hours and no leaks! We've been in the unit most of the AM decorating....I had to quit - I couldn't take it anymore....Betty is still out there having a ball.
