Drawer under refrigerator..

I am wondering about the drawer (door) under the fridge, I see some have them and some don't... Is it just an option they put when they feel like it? I am hoping ours has it cause never can have enough storage.. I have seen the Monty with and without under both styles of fridge.. Any ideas? Sorry, didn't mean drawer, but just a door to use the space...

I have a 2011 3400rl with the large refrigerator. The unit did not come with a drawer under the refrigerator. I took the screws out of the cover and cot plug to fill the holes from the back side of the cover. I sanded the front and matched the edge with my router then refinished the wood. You can ask the oem for a small amount of stain. I got some at the Goshen rally two years ago. I purchased drawer slides and then made a box for the drawer.

There is plenty of room under there and I don't understand why Keystone doesn't put a drawer there because everyone seems to see the need for one.

Good luck.

I took the screws out and hinged the panel creating a nice storage place for flat trays, etc.

We did the same as the others to create our drawer under refrigerator. We store the central vac hose and tools there.

Our panel is now hinged as well with a 6 bottle wine rack under there.

We've hinged both units. There are wires and a propane line underneath so protect them by either making a drawer, or in our case because we hinged it to get more height for our sheet pans, etc., we blocked the back area off with a piece of wood. I know that the service center had to remove our hinged panel and also this piece of wood protecting the back of the area because the screws were in different positions when we got our new refrigerator.

Boo Hoo, can't do that on ours, Electrical Panel is mounted on that panel under the Fridge. Did make a DVD storage cabinet in the dead space behind the blank panel where the Fire Place would have gone under the Entainment Center.

I guess we are the fortunate ones. Our new rig has double doors under reefer/pantry (opted for standard reefer when ordered). These doors are approx 18" w X 14" h and and hinged so they meet in the middle. Makes for a pretty large storage area under the reefer.

Here is what I did for the small space under my frig and stove.

You could have custome doors made at a cabinet shop or just do a quickie like I did with a piece of oak and throw some spring assist hinges on.

We, also, did just like Jim. There is enough area to store a fair amount of baking pans and trays.

lucky us...Our 2008 3000RK has a large drawer, but it was pretty light weight. I removed it, reglued and added another piece of panel on the bottom for support. Lighter weight kitchen pots and pans have found their resting place there.

Our salesman called yesterday to check with us and found out there is storage under the fridge in ours, right now kitchen sink covers are stored there.. Am anxious to pick it up, also 3100RL came with a rolling kitchen center, (which was a great bonus). Heading up Wednesday to bring her home!_1.gif

We have a 2007 3475RL. It has a drawer under the fridge. It was very weak and the bottom fell out. I got some glue and a couple of angle irons from the hardware store and also some screws. Put it back together and I don't think it will fail again unless I step into it.
