Sorry folks for falling so afr behind....

in my updates. A lot of minor things have taken place since the Tampa VA and I really can't remember where I left off but at this point I am free of the kidney stone, This now allows the DRs to go after the bladder cancer, What started out as just going in and removing the cancer has now progressed to Chemo injections. I have a consult this coming Friday and the Chemo may start immediately.

I will try to keep you all up to date but over the last month I have lost much I my ambition to due anything extra. Last night was the first good nights sleep in over a month.

At this very moment I am feeling pretty good and hopefully this will continue.

Again, I do want to THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF MY MOC FAMILY for all the thoughts and prayers. LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!

Glenn; sure hope that the chemo goes smoothly for you. It will get better. Don't know much about the treatment recommended for bladder cancer. Just hang in there and if you want to have a source for more info I can supply you with a great cancer forum that helped us a whole lot thru our recent bout with colon cancer. Hope your treatment goes quick and symptom free.

Unbelievable! You're going through chemo therapy, battling bladder cancer, winning the fight with kidney boulders, going through months of tests, analysis and therapy, attended an MOC Rally in spite of it and much to the chagrin of your doctors, returned to continue the fight, provided status reports which is how we know all this stuff, then you are humble enough to apologize for thinking you are falling behind. You are a true champion of life.

I am certainly impressed and pleased things are going your way. I hope our power of prayer and best wishes continue to keep you on the road to recovery. Many thanks in opening your life and letting us know what's going on. We shall not stop our prayers and concern. Your contributions have been missed but we know you will be back in full MOC force.

Stay rested and keep up the progress!

Art

Thanks for the update. Best of luck with the Chemo. As stated it effects everyone different. If the going gets rough remember Ann is a survivor with her last Chemo Jan 9,2007.
You are in our prayers.

The chemo is used to shrink the tumor to make it easier to remove, but I'm sure that was already explained. If the chemo makes you sick and/or nauseated, ask the Dr. for Zofran. It works wonders!
