Dano's in the mountains!!
Hi everyone!
Hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas!
Dano is in his rig on his way to Oregon!
He was in Cheyenne, WY last night at my Mom's house!
Even though he was away from home, I'm glad he was with family!
This is his first time crossing the Rockies,
so if you could throw up a prayer or two for him,
I'd be grateful.

Just got off the phone with him.
He lost signal.
Says the roads are getting worse.
Other truckers say I-80 is closed at Rawlings
which is where he's scheduled to get fuel anyway.
So he might be there for awhile.
He's taking it slow and easy.
Whew! This is going to be a long day!

It sounds like he knows that it is much safer to pull in and stop then to drive in that crap.
Wish him safe. Wish all trucker and RV owners safe driving.

Just talked to him.
He made it to Rawlins.
Had a few close calls, but he's still going good.
Got fueled up.
They're closing the road,
so he's there for a while @ a truckstop.
I've been watching the dot webcams.
They're pretty cool.

Okay, last update for today.
Road's back open.
He's back on the road along with
4 other truckers going the same way.
So, I feel better!

Well, he made it to Oregon
and is now on his way to Reno.
From now on, nothing in the Monty
will make him nervous!
