Frame flex
Well, when it occurred I don't know. Wife says she told me about a crack in the closet, but I don't remember it. But sure enough at the base of the wall on the curbside inside the front closet is a crack about a foot or so long with ragged edges that runs from the front towards the closet door about one and a half inch off the carpet. The bottom part of that side panel is open to the left about a quarter of an inch and the top piece of the wall seems to be in a normal vertical, but has its bottom edge broken about one quarter of an inch up and leaning out towards the bottom of the wall. It forms a neat cap across the gap. So it is obvious that the flex was more than one single occurrence and it may still be going on. No way of knowing that without taking a video while we are going down the road. Darn!!! Can't see anything outside on the molding along the edges...nada.
So put me in the frame flex club! John

Sorry you have to deal with the issue. Being an ex member of the flex club, I can appreciate your frustration.

We had gaps in the outside seals and the closet wall (where the washer goes) had the staples pulled out. No frame flex when we pulled the front. Outside seals were just old age and the inside wall was cut to long by Keystone at the factory. It just took me hitting a very large hole in the dark to move enough to show the issue. Hope you find a similar situation.

These things do flex some they can not be rigid. Ours will flex about 1/8 inch. keystone has been known to fit the wall panels to tight so that there is no room to flex and they bend, shatter, etc . Look at the molding along the right and left side over hang and see if there is a gap when the truck is hooked up or when the truck is unhooked.
we had real flex in our 06 3400 and things break under there .You need to determine if you have frame flex or not.. I would call Keystone customer relations.....now..
DQDick got a post in while I was posting......What he said..

Hi
Ours failed last weekend but I also have pulled the trailer in excess of 80,000 miles so I will just repair it.

My wall panel puked the staples and cracked. Keystone authorized dealer to inspect frame, checked good. Dealer put new panel cut to fit correctly. I kept remaining section of new panel. I then did a scribble test of wall panel movement and to my shock, it didn't move.

Our wall panel in the front closet right side buckled at the bottom, popped the staples and cracked along the bottom and top. Replaced wall panel and used screws instead of staples. No problem since. Minor problem.

I will have to post a picture of it so all can see it. Haven't pushed my finger down into the carpet to see where the bottom of the way panel is. It would be good if it turned out that the panel was way to long... That I could redo easily enough with a new panel from lowes or home depot. Maybe just cut it off higher and have new storage area in there. Of course, there had to be flex to get it to break and with the double break pattern, my guess is more flex than what I want to have. We experienced exactly the same thing with our then less than year old 3402RL and were given the same explanation. At the time, I thought it was a BS explanation. Since, so many people have been told the same, I've rethought that. It makes sense that these behemoths are going to flex going down the road.

Following.... just had the same thing happen to our 2019 Montana HC 331RL. Will let you know what Keystone says when I call them later this morning. Very disconcerting to say the least.
