When we were in Gatlinburg, Tn a couple of years ago we saw the strangest looking tree in front of a resturant and had to ask what it was. It was a Monkey Puzzle Tree and they grow well in Washington and Oregan. We researched the tree and decided we wanted one. To our suprise it was hand carried from Seattle, Washington to Chicago then to Ft Myers on United and delivered to us this afternoon. So excited and it will be the first tree we plant at our new home when it is completed. I guess it is a puzzle for the monkey to climb it with out getting stuck with thorns.
Oh, my cousin is a steward on United out of Seattle with 31 years of service. Delivery was free.
