Norcold Refridge
I have a 2016 Montana 3610RL and I have been having trouble with the side by side 4 door refridge not keeping the same temp. The dealer replaced the entire back on the unit with a new unit and it is still doing the same thing.
Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Is this the 12 cu ft Norcold, or the newer larger unit? I discovered our 12 cu ft unit wasn't working very well a couple months ago, and it seems it was due to the outside fans not working, because the little DC fan thermostat wasn't working. I changed it out, and we are doing great again. When our cooling unit was replaced, actually twice in one year, they never replaced the thermostat both times, and at some point, it wasn't working.

The refridge is the 18 cu ft. As I mentioned the entire back of the refridge was replaced. They had to take the unit out from the wall put it on the floor and put a new back on the unit

I doubt that any absorption fridge will maintain a temperature day in and day out like a compressor fridge can do. Mine now holds a temp for quite a while, but it may be 35 for a couple of days, then 38 for the next few days. I will go residential fridge when this one starts to go south. John

Same here. RV frigs are on their way to extinction except for a select group of dry campers. Unfortunate because until the last few years they were extremely reliable. Buying our first trailer in 1970, we never had a frig issue until our 2015 fiver.

Mine has been in several times, put it in the shed and cooled downed to 50 and now won't pull below 59-60 out of the shed. 9 times in since end of April for the level system, A/C, toilet and Fridge. We will see how the next week goes, but assume back in for work next week.

Our maiden voyage with our new 2017 3820FK we went 2,500 miles in 19 days, and the 18 Cu Ft RV fridge would not run while we were driving. Even though the propane was on, the fridge would not stay on. It would come on when we were stationary with the propane, and of course worked fine once plugged into 50 amps, but kept saying no FL. We assume that means the pilot light was getting blown out while driving? Any other ideas? Both propane tanks were full?

FL means flame. Your burner did not light or did not relight. You may need an adjustment at the burner, or possibly your gas pressure is not correct. In any case, there is a problem with getting or keeping the burner lit.

Our Norcold failed within the first year and the cooling unit was replaced. The fridge has been off for some time due to being at the dealer. We powered it up at 3PM yesterday on AC level 6.This AM the inside temp is 34 degrees. It has worked fine since replacement. It will vary a few degrees during the day and depending on how hot it is outside and if the sun is on that side.

I have a 2015 Montana 3610RL, also with the Norcold 4 door refer. I've had several problems with temp control. The biggest one was the temperature sensor for the circulating fans outside was mounted on a cooling fin that never got hot enough to start the fans. Once I moved it, the fans started cycling and the refer worked much better. I also have had 2 problems with the doors seals not sealing completely. The book tells you how to test, but you can look at the seal with a flashlight when the door is closed and see if you have a problem. I also had the no flame issue when driving but that turned out to be a wasp mud dobber blocking the air passage. Remember, these are the biggest absorbtion refers put into an RV and every little hiccup will effect cooling. definitely not a stick house refer.
