Controlling the temp between zones

Its kind of an odd problem (or maybe not). When the AC is on in Zone 1, a small amount of cool are is coming from the AC vents in Zone 2. This shouldn't be a problem except the bedroom (zone 2) is significantly cooler than the rest of the rig without running its own AC unit. My wife likes it warm and I like it cool. Nothing new there. By the time I get Zone one to a temperature that I like, the bedroom is pretty cool almost cold and wife complains it is too cold, while I'm still a bit warm in the living room. There can be easily several degrees difference between the zones without Zone 2's AC even running.

Any suggestions on controlling the small air flow in Zone 2 when its system is off?

Both front and rear A/C's share the same ductwork ... that's why cool air is coming out all vents when your rear air is on. You might look into replacing your stock bedroom vents with ones that you can close off. When it warms up this summer and you do run your front A/C, make sure a vent is not blowing directly on the bedroom sensor for zone 2 or the compressor will cycle off sooner than you would like it to.
