Update on city water connection
Well doesn't matter which way the valve is turned! When you hook up the city water connection, the black tank fills! So, the valve must be broken we may assume?

I don't think it's the valve, I think it's the intake that is mislabeled. Can you post a picture of how your hooked up in your convenience center, or a link to a site so we can see what you're dealing with?

I vote mislabeled. I don't think Mine has a switch to flush, just a front tank flush hook up and a rear tank flush hookup.

Are you maybe referring to the valve switch which allows flow to the fresh water tank?

Wish I could post a picture easily. But, we used the same connection with our first trip in this fifths wheel and had no problems?

Since a lot of us have hooked up to the wrong connection, my vote is still that you are using the wrong connection. IF you are using the right connection, then the only way for water to fill the black tank is a failed tetford toilet is routing all water into the bowl and it is overflowing or running past an mostly open toilet dump seat. Would you be willing to bet a grand that you are hooked up correctly? John

I wish it would be the thousand as we have ruined the weekend, flooded the RV with dirty water and now we have to haul the RV back to the dealer!

Make sure you give us a final post on what the dealer finds so we don't die of anticipation on this issue. Good luck. John
