Living room slideout loud squeeking noise

I have a 2013 Montana 3625RE. About 3 months ago the door side living room slide started squeeking very loudly. I soaked it with silicone lube but no help. I took it to an RV place and they cleaned and relubed the slide. They said they had to lube, slide in, relube, slide out about 4 or 5 times. This worked for about 2 cycles but now the slideout is as noisy as ever. Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed.

Can you determine what is squeaking? Is it the mechanical mechanism or the wiper seals? May need to lay under the slide as someone else moves it in and out to determine the source. If it is the wiper seals some have fixed it by treating the wipers with 303 or talc powder placed in a sock and dabbed on the seals. If it is the mechanism I have applied dry lube to the bushings on the cogs that the rails ride in and out on. Good luck, Jim

It also depends on the type of squeak. Your slide could even be out of adjustment, or even possibly something like we had where the slide was a hair bigger than the hole.

OR it could be there is something under the slide that is rubbing on the slide bottom or top when the slide is engaged!

Our door slide started squeaking at about 10 months and after our unit had sat for a couple months. Used Slide Lube as we started trip and it only helped a little. Had to use it a generous second time before almost all the squeaking was gone.

When I had the bottom down on the back of the monty, I noticed that the square tubes that have the rack (teeth) on the underside slide into another tube that is welded in place and that tube was totally dry inside with spots of light rust. So I used lube to coat the insides of the tubes, ie preventive maintenance. So if that is the source of the noise, then one has to drop the bottom. John

I would have to go with another generous application of slide lube as well before I would look any further.

I assume there is a balance shaft if it is a main slide. Lube the bushings that the balance shaft rotates in as well as what has already been mentioned.

They are outboard of the gear an inch or two in the photo.
