Slide Seals

I just opened the slides on the new 3100RL. It has been sitting closed up for about 3 weeks. I noticed that sections of the outer seals on the kitchen slide are not flat against the slide wall. They are curled up slightly. They apparently did not roll in properly last time out. Has anyone else experienced this? Did they eventually go back flat? Did you have to do anything to them?

Put a sock in a sock and put baby powder in them, rub the sock on the seals and the surfaces they slide on, works miracles! Just like in underwear! LOL!

About once a year I use the slide out seal treatment http://www.amazon.com/Thetford-32778...al+conditioner. Now that we are full timing I haven't had that happen, but when we weren't if I had that happen I just gave that section an extra shot and it smoothed right out.

We have experienced the same thing on a sporadic basis. I just pull the seal out by hand. I will have to try the sock/baby powder drill.

I, too, will be trying the baby powder on mine.

Does the baby powder wash off so you have to reapply after every rain?
