Bad First Day

Brought the new Montana home yesterday, we finished getting everything ready about 10:30am, had my brother in law helping me bring it home, of corse it was raining. We got it down the street, had to trim several trees to get the higher camper to clear, when i tried to turn it in the driveway i could not make the turn without going into the ditch, so i backed it into my yard and pulled my truck into the empty lot across from my driveway, then started to back the Montana up, now for the bad news, the truck started spinning the tires (two wheel drive) and got stuck, now the camper is in the middle of the street, put the landing gear down and tried to unhitch the Pullrite hitch, but the truck was at an angle, so the hitch would not unlatch, so pulled the pins and let the camper pick up the hitch, even with the weight of the camper off the truck could not get the truck to move, so had to jack up the truck and put boards under the tires, got the truck to move but kept getting stuck again (it was still raining making things worse. at this point the camper was in the street for about 3 hrs, so i called the Montana dealer and asked if they could help, they are about 6 miles from where i live. the owner said he could maybe borrow a 4wheel drive truck, so he showed up with a 1 ton dulley 4X4 diesel, he pulled my truck out then hooked up to the Montana (after pulling off the pullrite mounting plate) and got my camper out...
it was stuck in the street for about 5 hrs.

I would like to thank Drew from Country Campers for helpig me out,not often an owner will got out his way to help someone out like he did, he didn't have to do what he done, he sure saved my butt, don't know if a wrecker truck could of got my camper out, where it was located, I'm glad I had a dealer that cared about his customer...now i need to put down pour a cement slab so that will not happen again...
