rocker recliners ??

Would like to replace current chairs with Lazy boy's stock chair, but find that they are 32" wide when in transport mode and I am concerned that anything over 31" will interfere with the slide movement.

Trying to avoid the cost of custom RV chairs and yet stay in leather stuffed format.

Has anyone experienced this and with what results?

We've replaced our heavy stock recliners with Lazy Boys without any problems. No problem with slides when retracted.
I forgot to mention,we have the 3400RL.

I can see where we will replace ours in the future. The ones that came with the coach are not what I would call "built to last". The lazy boys we have at home are older but look and feel newer.

We replaced ours with a knock off of the swedesh chairs ,,,,spelling,,,,econics ,, which have foot stools seperate as we werev able to get them in a mr and mrs size but the store is out of business but they were made by BENCHMASTER FURNITURE LLC, out of plano, texas 75074 they are all leather and wereed in the $400.00 to $500.00 range 4 years ago ...sailer

We have a 2007 Montana 2955RL. This spring we decided that the old swivel, rocker
recliners had to go. They were covered in cheap fabric and were starting to look kind
of ratty. We were also concerned about how the chairs always rocked back and forth when in
transit.
Went to a local furniture store and picked up two new chairs, manf'd by a company called
Best, made in China where else. They are zero wall clearance recliners only, no rocker,
no swivel. Paid $450 each here in Canada. They are about 31" wide, so the one on the
drivers side is turned sideways and it clears the slide with no problem at all.
Chairs are much lighter so there is a gain there in what the dear wife can load on board.
The chairs came in a small box and I was confused when we first saw the boxes.
The backs very easily detach, they simply slide into slots in the back of the chair bottom.
When the back is installed there are several snaps on the cover on the back to hold it in place.
Just a discrete reminder if you have a large frame, these chairs might not be for you. They are built for medium to small sized people.
Note: We got rid of the larger table that was in between the two chairs. Got the table you
can see in the picture at the flea market in Yuma. I have it screwed to the floor so it doesn't go anywhere.

We purchased leather "Euro" style recliners that are on wooden swivels and have detached stools like Sailer did. Much lighter in weight than the recliners that came with the Monty. Unfortunately, 2 months after purchase we got mice while it was in storage. We now have little holes all over them both. Otherwise, we love the chairs. The only thing I don't like is the stool with the chair next to the door gets in the way when going in and out. We have a 2955RL.

This year we replaced the "stock" recliners with new Laz-e-Boy "wall hugging" recliners when Laz-e-Boy was having a sale. We did NOT get swivel, we never saw the need for it. They are great, and not having to move them when closing the slide is a plus. I might add that like some others, we switched the sofa and the recliners with each other (recliners in the "super slide" and the sofa in front of the back window) and like it that way MUCH better. The Laz-e-Boys are GREAT.

We have just replaced the original recliners with LazyBoy recliners-the Harbour Town model. They rock but do not swivel. Because they are so much lighter and rest on wood runners they are much easier to move and rotate for travel. I see that Cedar Creek is using LazyBoy recliners as standard equipment (along with a Serta pillow top matress). Can Keystone be far behind?

That is what we are looking for, now I need to find a lower 48 dealer.
It appears they are not sold in the US.

I replaced my OEM recliners with Ekornes recliners. They are way more comfortable than traditional recliners plus the are way lighter and easier to manage when traveling. I can move them with one hand and Dianna can easily reposition them.

The flip-out standard foot rest never fits me, but I can position the ottoman to my comfort. The leather is soft, beautiful, real leather. we have had the chairs for 4 years now, so they are tested.

We replaced the rocker recliners days after getting the Mountaineer. Uncomfortable and difficult to manouever into place. We replaced with Lambright wall hugging recliners which we love.

When we bought our 2955 we told them we didn't want the recliners that came with it and we bought Flexsteel Euro Recliners with separate foot stool. They ase very comfortable.

We have a 2010 3150rl and we were extremely disappointed with the quality of the 2 "creaky" recliners that came with the monty. We sold the 2 recliners on Kijiji and bought two 32 inch wide Euro (stress free) bonded leather recliners with foot stools from Sears on sale $549.00 (made by Benchmaster). We have 2 inches clearance between the chair arms and the slides.
