Do something different with 3171 dining table slide in kitchen

The dining table in my 2019 3171 is pretty much useless for its intended use. I've posted before but haven't made the time to do anything about it until now, and will be taking out the table this weekend. Anyone have any detailed ideas/photos/sources about what can go in this slide space and be useful? I am not the creative type but do know what doesn't work. Thanks.

We had the same issue with the table, wasted space and not quite enough space full timing. We took out the table and two of the chairs, and Becky found a refurbished buffet cabinet that fit perfectly, low enough to still access the window and blind and with short legs so we can slide 12 packs of sodas on the floor under it. I was able to fasten L brackets to the backside of the legs and put a screw not the floor just in case it decided to move when on rough roads. So far it is working very well. The two remaining chairs fit at either end of the buffet and we place them in the living room when parked for extra seating.

On my SOB trailer what I did was to remove the dinette and chairs and replaced them with a small computer desk and rolling chair.

We've got a '17 3731, not sure what the 2019 issue is, we use our dinette all the time, seems quite adequate for us, just curious, what is the problem?
