New stairs installed today.

Since I am now an authorized RV Parts dealer, I was able to go to the warehouse and pick up my stairs. These are not the 26" I wanted, but very nice curved new steps.
Pinched finger, paint all over my hands, had to get one new bolt, but went fairly well.

Gee Ozz, now you can do a little sandblasting and painting on the old steps and since you're a new RV Parts dealer, you can sell those old one to make up some of the loss on the new ones!

Nice new steps! Sorry you couldn't find the size you were looking for.

I can see the shingle hanging from your front door... "Ozz's discount RV parts!"

Thank you for going out of your way to measure for me. I got these partially because of your feedback. I think the curved steps are kind of like yours.
We just keep taking stuff out to the trailer, good thing I increased the spring capacities...

Actually, you are not far off. I am able to buy wholesale, I have an account at a big RV wholesale supply warehouse.
My overhead is around zero, and I get the same pricing as the big RV dealerships. Well, they may get a better percentage but close.
My list pricing for the stairs was the same as I was quoted at two dealerships.

Hi Bear,
I am closing my HVAC business and may start selling some parts to folks.
If one goes by low price alone, I may not want to compete with that, but my service and knowledge would close the gap. I kind of know my way around an RV.
I can ship it direct to the end user from the warehouse with no drop-ship fees.
How is the weather up there? I hear it is a really nice place.

Thank you sir. The stairs are something you look at every time you come back inside, and like with my old ones, they worked hard, real hard. I did free them up, but Sue needs easy-working stairs, as she goes back to the trailer first, as I let the engine run for a while, then I check the tires and then I come back while we are on the road.
For less than $200 and free install, I just had to get them.

Ozz, nice job! We're currently in tornado warning Goshen, Indiana awaiting the service center personnel on Tuesday to tell us how long we will be here to have things fixed.

Thanks!
Suzie likes them.
I wish you well in the weather there, it is so scary when you are in an RV.
We are so exhausted. It is very complicated handing off a business, finishing repairs and mods, loading the RV, getting all the household things dome, contacting the banks getting forms signed, the security company, the lawn care people, the video security people, Invoicing and collecting receivables, UGH...
That first night we stay in the trailer will be nice...I hope.
We were so miserable today, the humidity is the usual miserable Missouri type. Glad I am not doing service calls anymore.
Hope to see you guys on the road. How do you feel about the Rockies..
