Boss is always right!

Pulled into our campsite yesterday evening, got road side basement door unlocked, power cord plugged in, water hooked up etc., go over to door side basement door and the key won't work. Try and try, nothing turning. Get out the other set of keys, same thing, nothing turning, lock's gotta be broken. Boy, first time out every lock worked fine and now this, in what is about to be pouring down good ol' Ohio rain! I tell the boss she's gonna have to enter basement from road side, take tools, slide through after we pull things out and see what she can do over to door side.

But before she agrees, she asks, "Did you turn the key over and try it"? I tell her the key went in fine and just wouldn't turn and the other set did the same thing. She says, "Turn it over and just give it a try." I do. And bingo!!!! Of course, it worked!

Well at least she didn't have to crawl through the storage area. I just hate it when I am proven wrong.

Good thing she did not climb thru the basement and then find out about the key.

Chinese locks are about as good as Chinese tires.

I find it is usually counter-productive to argue with my wife.

I have a sign hanging that says, "I am master of my house. Whatever my wife wishes shall be done."

Having said that, you can keep from having this happen again. When she is not looking borrow some of her read nail polish. On each lock, try the key and if it works, put a dot of red nail polish on the "teeth" edge of the lock. (Don't just put it on the key, as that will not work, trust me.) Of course, now you have to remember that red dot means teeth side of key. Sometimers may set in. (sometimes you remember, sometimes you don't - Sometimers)
