Congratulations! Many of us can relate to your comments about adjusting to downsizing. It even brought a smile to my face. We know exactly what you mean. Believe it or not, before long it will become the 'normal' to you to live in that much space. Even your dog will adjust.

There are, in my opinion, too many things on that single kitchen circuit, including the refrigerator. You might shut down the breaker on that circuit and see whether you have any outlets in that neighborhood that are on a different circuit. There usually is at least one.
