MOR/RYDE Adjustment
Is there an adjustment that can be made to the Mor/Ryde hitch? Mine travels forward and backwards with little to no resistance at all. Slams forward and backwards every time I move the truck. Appears to be about two inches of travel. Afraid the trailer is going to end up in the cab with me or in the middle of the road. Thanks Frank

I would address this issue with Morryde. There customer service is great and, if your king pin is older, it sounds like you need to replace the springs.

Yep, the rubber spring pads are replaceable, and there are different rated springs for the weight of the trailer.

Make sure you have the correct rated spring for your trailer's weight.

There also supposed to be bumpers on the front and rear of the top part. They're to keep things from slamming.

How do I check to see what spring is installed on mine? My Montana is rated for 16,000.
Thanks

Is it stamped on the side of the rubber. If I knew how to post a pic I would.

That 2 inches of back and forth travel is normal on the hitch
slams is another story.Mor Ryde is the place to ask about that.

I just bought a 2007 Montana M-2955 RL. While flushing water down the kitchen sink, after about a minute the sink began filling up. I had already emptied the black & grey water waste tanks. I took apart the "S" trap and ran a snake down it a long ways and it was clear. Is there a separate gate valve for the galley waste tank? My tank level indicater light showed it full. How do I empty it?

On the Street side frame, should be just in front of the front axle, if not there check between the axles.
