We just traded for a 2018 3791RD non-Legacy Montana and after 2 weeks in it full time the ONLY thing I am missing over the 2012 Montana is a remote to extend/retract the main awning from the outside without having to go in to the main control panel located inside.
Has anyone installed one of the 12 volt remotes that are available from Amazon, etc. to open and close the awning and if so how is it working out?
Please don't say "you should have gotten the Legacy package and you wouldn't have this problem".
We like to keep things pretty simple and didn't want the extra headaches of additional things to give problems and besides that the rear cap is not available on the 3790/3791RD even with the Legacy package.
