Insulating the slide outs

Travelling Three Montana Fan Join Date: Sep 2016 Location: Omaha Posts: 104 M.O.C. #19003	Insulating the slide outs A guy in the resort added aluminum insulating panels, I'm not sure what the correct nomenclature of this stuff is, to the sides of all the slide outs on his 5th wheel. Thickness appears to be no more than a 1/2". I'm going to take another look at this but my question is, is there enough room for the 1/2" panels when the slide outs are drawn in? If the guy is around I will get more answers but, also, has anyone added panels to their slide outs? Thanks!!
