Little light above the mirror

How does that little light that’s on the front of the trailer turn on the one above the mirror so you can see when you’re backing it up to hitch up Also the little LED lights in the ceiling I’ve tried to get those covers off to clean the bugs out I cannot get them off is there a trick

It's called a docking light. I have the In-Command system on mine, I believe mine comes on when I turn on external security lights. If you don't have the In-Command system I don't know where the switch is located.

Seems the door side light might trigger that light as well....

Fill in your sig so we know what year and model you have.

On our 2011 unit, the hitch light came on with the side scare lights. That was just dumb, so I rewired it to come on with the step light. It is easy to move wires around behind the panel to get what you want to come on with a particular switch.

On our rig, the DS (door side) switch turns on the door side scare light, the light underneath the stairs and also that light above the hitch. If that doesn’t work, turn on all the switches just to see if any of them make that light work.

On my 2014 the switch is labeled "Cap Lights". It turns on the eyebrows and the docking light.

I have a 2019 3791RD and it is wired on a switch labeled Safety Lights in the panel. Also yellow led around higher slides and steps.

Light above the mirror

I had the remote control for mine, the main brain went out had to replace. It went out again so I'm on manual now. The mirror light comes on with curbside scram light.

The white LED above the hitch is on a switch in the hallway control panel. The LED puck covers simply screw off. Righty tighty, lefty loosey. Sometimes they are tough but they do screw off.

Mine were wired the same way. What idiot decided that was a good idea.
We have used the scare lights on all the units I have owned may be 6 times in 15 years.
We use the hitch light every time/every day we are camping.
Simple to move wires around to get the switches to do what you want them to do.

On my 2011 Mountaineer it's on the remote control. I think it's the "light" button. Can't remember if it just turns on the mirror light or the scare lights too.

In my 13 Mountaineer, it is one of the 3 outside light switches (porch, ds, or ods - not sure of labels).
