Shadow Brook Campground, Cooperstown, NY
Spent a long weekend at Shadow Brook this summer. Very nice facility, lots of trees, great pool, and new ownership/management that works very hard to please. Only drawback is the small number of full-service sites, I expect because of environmental restrictions. There are a few but they appear to be occupied by seasonal campers. Others are water/elec. For a fee, mobile pump out service is available and we found it to be responsive and efficient. Located at the quiet north end of Otsego Lake, about 10 miles from Cooperstown and all the attractions located there. Would definitely go back if heading for a short visit to Cooperstown.
