Oceanview RV park, Homer, Alaska

We decided to stay in this RV park instead of the Spit in Homer and can highly recommend it. We have a great views of the bay and the mountains. The facilities are nice. We have only water and electricity but there are some full hookups. It's a little pricey, $37.00 but nice.

They say location is everything in real estate, well that goes for rv parks too. The view is worth the price.

You're right, Northstar. We enjoyed watching the tide go in and out, even if it was from some height, probably third story balcony height. It was a beautiful picture. I didn't realize that Homer had so many mountains around it.

We agree re. Oceanview...nice location, view, and people! We stayed there in July and gave away halibut we caught (too much for the Monty freezer). Just home from our 3 month AK adventure!!!

I'm envious....had to give away halibut. I can sure see the benefit of having a freezer when you go to Alaska to fish. We had to stop fishing because we didn't know what to do with the fish.

Wish I'd have known you were giving away halibut jrgwdenner...I'm always up for some halibut or salmon! Can't get enough of the stuff even though I live here! LOL!
