Fantastic Fan Motor
Has anyone had the motor that runs the fan on the fantastic fan bind up..The vent opens and the rain sensor still works fine..but the motor to the fan binds and wont move...can the shaft be bound and how can it be repaired?

Yes. The set screw on blade came loose and blade slipped down against the shroud. Had to go on roof and tighten.

Fantastic Fan takes the highroad. If it has actually failed, they will likely replace it free.

I have used the hot line to them and got very good service. They are one company that still believes in customer service!

I got up on top and cleaned everything up around the blades and lubed the shaft of the motor...It started working...thanks for your help...It is just a little noisey now...I alway remember it being silent.
