Kitchen Table Shakes
We have a 3455SA with the pivoting and sliding kitchen table. The problem is that it is shakey. I tried tightening the base screws into the floor, but that didn't help much. Has anyone had any luck stabilizing this type of table?

Be more specific with the term "shaky".

The table top is not solid. If you push down on it that side will go down while the other side will rise. The thing rocks, but not in a good way.

On our 08 the table shook real bad on the ends while using it. The dealer replaced it with the newer type that swivels. It still shakes, but not as bad. Sure do like the swivel feature!

Do you tighten the center piece to the base?

This was one of the issues we had. We just took ours in for warranty repair. It appears to be loose where the pedestal joins the base. We wedged some paper temporarily in there to stabilize it some.

The table in our 2010 is not near as sturdy as the table in the 08 we had. The new table almost fell apart before we got the rig home from the dealer in a 2500 mile trip.
I had to put L brackets on the center post and this did sturdy it up a lot along with snugging up the top and bottom nuts on the center post.
Now the slides are getting loose and I may have to do something like harryd2 did with felt strips or something. I think Keystone really needs to address the issue with a better design.

Ditto on ours. We just got ours back from the dealer and it is much sturdier.

OK, unscrewed the table from the floor, and tightened the nut on the pedestal. This took more than half of the play out of the top, but may have to resort to putting felt on the slides.
