Awning Cleaning

Not sure if anyone has tried it but........

After my awning had been rolled up for months, it was discolored
on the underside pretty badly. I discovered the Mr. Clean Magic
Eraser will remove the stains with very little effort. They are available everywhere. Got mine at WalMart. My awning is back to its original bright white and blue.

Travel safe.......

Another way to clean the awning that I have heard of but have not tried yet is to spray it with tilex, roll it back up, let set for 1/2 hour then rinse. Let us know how it works if anyone trys it.

According to the instructions with our awning
"Use mixture of 1/4 cup dish soap, 1/4 cup of bleach, and 5 gallons of fresh water. Soap the open awning with this mixture, then roll it up and let stand for five minutes. Unroll awning and hose off top and bottom with clean water."
We have used this method and found it works great. Awning looks like new.

I am going to have to try one of these methods. When we bought our 3295RK, it came with a rather dirty underside of the awning. Thanks for the tips!
