New to 5th wheel world
Hello everyone........... I just ordered a 2011 Montana 3150RL. It should be in by the end of next month and we can't wait. Have been traveling in a motorhome the last 10 years but it is 15+ years old now and starting to have issues. Liked the "living space" of the 5th wheel over another motorhome. Obviously, along with the 5th wheel change, also had to buy a truck. Ended up with a nice 2008 Silverado 2500HD, Duramax.
Looking to learn a lot of things from everyone. I have a few months to learn everything before heading out this winter to Florida.

Welcome aboard! This is a great forum with lots of folks with various experiences. We really like our 3400RL. Never had a motorhome.

Gary, I also have never owner a motorhome, but have been with family and friends that have had them. I feel sure you'll enjoy the Montana much more. We just purchased our 3400RL this past Feb. We are just weekenders right now due to the DW still working. However, as soon as she retires, we'll start making our long trips.
You'll also love this forum....Joe

Congratulations on your new rig! If you have questions about your new fifth wheel, you have found the place for answers. You will find a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw upon from the many MOC members you will be interacting with on the MOC forum...again, congratulations.

Enjoy that new rig! Welcome to the Forum. Should be lots of carry-over knowledge from motor home to fifth wheel. At least more than when I moved from backpacking to fiver. Happy RVing.....

Welcome to the forum. You will learn fast, not only from the forum but also from your experiences with towing, backing and just general all RVing. Just remember you still have to make wide turns because the fifth wheel doesn't track directly behind the tow vehicle. You may cut a few corners like I did when I changed from a travel trailer to the fifth wheel.

Welcome to the forum. There is a wealth of information here so don't be afraid to jump in with questions and answers. Check out the Fall Rally in Goshen, Indiana and join us. You'll meet a great bunch of like minded folks. Hurry, there are only a few spots left.
