first night in the 3400RL

How exciting! Does everyone remember the first night in their Montana? Our 2011 3400RL was delivered to our seasonal site here in New Hampshire a few weeks ahead of official opening, so we just HAD to take advantage of that and spend the first night up (March 28th) in a very quiet, campground with a little snow on the ground, and more snow to come this weekend. It was great and looking forward to great times to come.

Our first time out in our old 3400 was exactly as you described, snow on the ground at a campground close to home during Easter of 2008. I never got the women to let me take the camper out of there for nine weeks!!

It was great for us too. Glad that you enjoyed your first night quietly with just a little snow. It seems that you and I are going to have a nasty April 1st. Anywhere from 10-14 inches of snow!!! Wouldn't it be nice if this was just an April fool's joke?

Enjoy your new Montana neighbor.

You'll laugh, but I suspect we're not the only MOC members that have done this... our 1st night in our Monty was in front of our house "curb camping" we were just so excited to finally have it...

We spent the first night in our 3400 at Ft Richardson Military Fam Camp in Anchorage, Alaska. It was in May '07 so the snow had just cleared. We tried staying next door at Elmendorf AFB, but the sites were too muddy due to breakup. Spent our first two weeks in it at Ft Rich, will never forget it. Learned qute a bit those two weeks, even broke the awning, the first time....We still love our "little home". It has been very good to us and brought us memories to last a life time!!!!!

We know you will enjoy it immensely!!!!

We bought our Monty about 350 miles from home, so on the way back we stayed in a small town truck stop with all the trucks running at night, dark when we set up and dark when we left in the morning; this was in the beginng of May on our 39th wedding Anniversary!!

We continue to love our 3400 and each time we take it out is almost like the first time. Hope you continue to have good times with yours!

After rving for so many years, too many to remember, we still feel that excitement when we venture out for the first night each year. Glad you were able to enjoy your first out and hey, we aren't going to let a little snow spoil our fun, keep warm!!!

We took delivery on a Friday in late November of 09. It was snowing that day and after an extensive PDI I towed it home from Harrisburg to Hanover Pa. I managed to back it up the driveway, parked and plugged it in and invited the neighbors over for cocktails.
DW and I spent the rest of the weekend in it.

Send a message via Yahoo to NCFischers
The day we brought it home from the dealer, we slept in it in the driveway that night.
