I was volunteer firefighter for 45 years. Started with U S Forest Service in 1962, Army decided I needed to be a fireman. Got out and volunteered. State certified in 3 states. My wife died 9 years ago and I decided I wanted to travel. Here I am. Enjoy, you can always be a consultant

Welcome! Always great to meet a Firefighter.

I became a volunteer Firefighter during my military service. After I retired, I ended up as the Fire Chief of the Bluewater Bay Fire Department in Niceville, Florida for 20 years. I have also taught, consulted, and help out where I can as we travel. You can travel and do whatever makes you happy. I'm 81 and I still do search and rescue, guest speaking, and volunteer where I'm needed.

Thank you Chief for your service. I help out where I can when traveling. I just do not want to retire. I have the time now to do the job. Firefighters here in Michigan are hard to find.

Welcome aboard! I am a Michigander as well transplanted to Vegas. We just purchased Badgerland Campground in Stoughton, WI (about an hour from the Dells) so this will bring us back closer to home starting this spring! Hope to see you there. Congratulations on your retirement
