Well, we will have to watch the weather now and try to plan our trip around accordingly. Living in the coastal area of Florida has it's disadvantages. Our home is just 8 & 3/4 feet above sea level so if it comes to our area and only has a 12 foot storm surge guess who is under water. We are across the street from the river which is over a mile wide and have a canal one block behind us. Better check out our diving gear. It has been 43 years since we had a hurricane hit us directly so guess we are over due. Here is a link we use to keep up with the storms.
