Sound Bar
Does anybody know of a replacement soundbar for under the front 50 inch TV? The one that came with it is the cheapest piece of crap I have ever seen. I have searched for one that connects the same way with no luck. I think I'm going to need a 4 zone channel speaker switch selector and a RCA to banana plug wire to connect the two together.

Only way I have gotten sound so far is to run audio from tv thru the cheap radio/cd/dvd player. I don't think we have a sound bar on our tv. 2018 381th.
I really don't like the switching for the audio outside being on the radio. I can't tell when the sound is playing outside without opening up the door and listening. I would strongly prefer a separate manual switch so I know for sure the speakers outside are not playing (and disturbing others). I feel so strongly about it that I am considering adding a switch system on the outputs!
In general not real fond of the off brand (Furrion) electronics anyway. Will replace with name brand as they go out....

I yanked my soundbar out and put in Bose. I put in a Bose because I have Bose stand alone Wi-Fi / Bluetooth speakers that work with the soundbar via iPhone App. Also, Bose soundbar works well with HDMI. I power on the soundbar and the TV and the BlueRay come on as well. (Yes, got rid of the cheap DVD player also)
Of course the ceiling & outdoor speakers don't work, but I don't care for their sound reproduction either.
The Bose Wi-Fi / BT speaker I have has a radio and I can plug in anywhere including outside.
I have literature for these in my 381TH and it is put up for winter. Below freezing here and can't get to literature without putting out a living room slide. I am sure the seal is frozen in place so I can't tell you what model numbers of Bose. It is expensive.
I did research where Samsung has great soundbars and much, much cheaper. The only reason I went with Bose is I already had the Bose speakers that could work with a Bose soundbar.

I've been going through the tire threads and am concerned that maybe before delivery I should upgrade the tires to either Goodyear or Sailun. I believe the original tire size is ST235/80R 16F but people (perhaps with other trailers) replaced with ST235/85R 16G.
Is there any downside to step up to 85 in the 380/381TH?

Sailun 80 are rated at 4080# while the 85 are rated at 4400# per tire, both at 110 psi. I run the 85 at 100 psi for the stiffer sidewall at about the same psi as the 80 series.

First Major Snag
Had our first major
While traveling from Missouri to Florida we spent a few nights home in Tennessee. While setting up for the night at the KOA I was having problems getting the bedroom slide to extend. I double-checked the floor under the slide to ensure that a shoe or something hadn't gotten wedged underneath it. To my dismay what I found was that the rear headboard closet door had sprung open during travel and had gotten wedged behind the rear corner of the slide. Pulled the slide in, unjamed the door and fully extended the slide.
The hinges on the door are now bent and the door will not close. I use a pice of tape to hold it closed and currently have the DW check it before operating the bedroom slider now. When i get some time I'm going to remove the door and try to straighten the hinges.
So just an FYI for everyone to check your slide before operating it. Still loving our new home and excited to show it to our friends here in FL. Get lots or oohs and aahs everywhere we've been.

Ohhhhh yea the old cabinet door behind the slide. Had that happen on our last Keystone and it broke the door frame completely. Nothing like an expensive repair to make you check first!

What brand and model of tires come on the 380/381TH from the factory?

And while we're riding the Black Friday sale train, I've also read that disc brakes and independent suspension on our new 380/381TH is a recommended pre-delivery upgrade.
Any thoughts on that?

Ours came with cheap knock off tires with I think it is "F" rating. Most have recommended "G" rated tires.
I have heard mixed but mostly good reviews on the independent suspension and disc brakes but have never had either. I was looking at better suspension to address the minor chucking we see with our unit but most folks say that is best addressed with a cushion hitch pin first. FYI, the HCs come with solid hitch pin and that would be a high priority upgrade if you ask me right behind the tires....

Can you suggest something specific that you'd recommend? I'll order it today!

There are a couple threads about hitches. I asked the same question.

Doing the research now. Asking, though @MtLakeJim, what did you go with yourself for that cushioned hitch pin?

I'm looking at getting a Lippert Flex-Air pin box. Now I just need to figure out which specific model.

I haven't bought one yet but plan to go with the moyr flex. True I ride folks all the time for saying look it up on a website instead of answering questions directly LOL. Point taken.

On the thread I started one person said the flex air was great and another said they felt bounce back from the shock. I wonder if the second person just didn't have it adjusted right? Everyone seemed to agree that the Roto Flex was a good choice and it is cheaper so I think that is what we will go with. Our 5er only chucks the 1 ton a little on rough roads and we haven't changed to the better tires yet which may improve the ride a bit.
I also got mixed comments about if adding the shock absorbers to the 5er would reduce chucking and or improve the ride. Again everyone seemed to agree that going with the best spring links would help.

Ours has Rainier ST235/80R16. They are E rated.
On a side note I spent the afternoon re-jigging the satellite cabling behind the bulkhead in the front bay. We only have one receiver so I only need the front TV hookup. Disconnected the short feeder cable that goes to the 4-way splitter/router. Took the front TV input cable and screwed it directly into the outside passthrough. Gains about 10 points on the receiver strength meter.
When we did our walkthrough the tech said their electronics guy had done "several" re-wires on new 2018s. Luckily I'm familiar enough with A/V to tackle this myself.

My 370 BR had the same. From the dealer to the tire shop and Sailuns were installed. Dealer gave $30 per tire for the Rainiers.
