Bosie to Winnemucca
In the planning stage of a round trip from western Nv to Boise ID and back. Going via I80 to Salt Lake City, north to Boise via I84 then onto Hwy 95 south to Winnemucca on the way home to Dayton.
How is 95 south, see its about 240 miles with possible gas in the Jordan Valley. Towing a new HC 330rl. Thanks for any input.

Agreed. I've driven this route many times. The road is good. Buy fuel before leaving Nampa/Boise and you will be good to Winnemucca (280 miles). Fuel on the way is iffy; last time I tried to buy fuel in Denio (heading to Medford via Lakeview OR, best way to avoid California) the pump was out of order; pulled into Lakeview on fumes. That was with a truck that had a small fuel tank and could hardly make 200 miles when pulling a load.

Thanks guys, good info. I've seen some video of the route, how are the grades? Don't know when we'll be making the trip, but we will be using this route.

There is a rough section of road on the grade climbing out of the valley south of Boise on 95. It's almost like speed humps in a few sections of the road. I think the area is geologically/seismically active or has expansive soils. Other than that, it's smooth sailing all the way home.
