Capture plate for MOR/ryde pin box
The new Monty will have the MOR/ryde pin box and I will need a new capture plate for my SuperGlide hitch. Can anyone verify if the quick connect plate #331707 will fit? Every thing I've seen states that the universal mount plates will not fit all MOR/ryde pin boxes, but nothing about the quick connect plate fitting all.

When we picked up our new rig about a year ago, we were backing on when the owner of the dealership stopped us for the very reason you describe. He said the quick connect plate wouldn't work so he got a permanent plate and welded it to the MOR ride pin box. We were there well after closing...the owner and mechanic stayed until it was right.
From what I understand is that we have lost the ability for a tow without someone with a superglide but I'm not exactly sure. Perhaps someone else can clarify.

I traded a 2009 on a 2010, and the capture plate was attached to the new rig from the old one. No issues.

Rich,
The info provided from Pullrite indicates the Mor/ryde King Pin Box requires a 331707 Quick Connect Capture Plate for your SuperGlide 16k hitch. Click/Read Quick Connect Capture Plate Sizing Chart
On that chart you will note at bottom left Mor/Ryde requires a 331707 Quick Plate to match your SuperGlide hitch.
To verify I also suggest you call Pullrite/SuperGlide at Mishawaka, IN for Linda Marie Groning at 800-443-2307 ext 111 and ask her directly what you believe to be correct number for the capture plate.
I hope this helps.

Thanks Dennis,
I took those numbers and checked MOR/ryde pin boxes and it looks like they match

Ken (brenkco), Pullrite sells an adapter that will connect to the pin to allow a "normal" hitch to be used with the capture plate on your pinbox.
If your capture plate is like mine (mine's on a standard pinbox) then it has some wedges behind the pin. Those wedges lock into the superglide to cause the turning action. If you use a standard hitch with this capture plate it will break those wedges, effectively destroying the capture plate. I assume this adapter works with the capture plate you have but you might check their website to make sure.
