Question Rearranging furniture

Does it make a difference if I change the position of the couch and dining table and chairs? They are along the same side on a slide out. Originally the couch was closer to the front of the unit. We have a 29’ Montana Mountaineer. We switched them and the drawer under the couch opened a few times during travel and now the slides are bent and is very hard to open and close. Does the weight distribution have anything to do with this?
The reason for the switch was that it makes more sense for conversation when we have company because our two recliners are at the back.

Bent the slide? Where, what actually bent?

Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I meant the plastic slides on the couch storage drawer.

We rearranged furniture in our 2008 and 2012 Montanas to suit us with our ny problems. Your drawer slides would have likely failed anyway.

Drawer slides

Go to the Home Depot and get you a set of full-extension drawer slides, the silver ones with ball bearings. And put them on and no more issues.

Furniture

we replaced those CRAP peeling recliners with a theater seat from the local furniture store and LOVE it! Next is to build a day bed across the rear of the 5er with drawers underneath.
