Each time we purchased a Montana the dealer gave us a sheet showing what the warranty was on the different components. He also said that if we had any problems with any of the components that he would deal with the proper vendor to resolve the problem.

Steve ... the 2 pump a year direction from any dealer is just a placebo to advert disaster. Scores of maintenance techs know the EZ lube fails frequently thus the placebo. Two pumps is just about the size of two thumb nails ... does no harm, does no good, but does give the owner peace of mind he added grease. A couple of guys on the MOC have made the EZ lube work, but good golly what a tedious process they went thru to accomplish the feat. Then even they never know if a bit seeped past the rear seal unless they removed the drum which necessitates the process all over again.

Dennis, I think you have the same dealer we have. Barry and Jim are probably exceptions to the rule. They're tops in my book.

Dieselguy, I think you're right. After the first couple of years I quite using the EZ Lube altogether and just have the bearings repacked every couple of years. As fulltimers we are never in parks that would allow us to do that kind of work on the rig so we just have it done.
