Where do you get weighed?
Where do you get your rigs weighed? I would like to get my Monty weighed alone, and then my Ford F350.

Flying Js or Pilots should have a scale. They charge each time you have a different weigh, i.e., trailer only, truck only, both. The scales are separated as pads so you can place the wheels of the truck on one pad and the trailer on a different pad. There are some who have had their units weighed at a grain scale.

Truck stops, CAT scales, you can get two weighs, weigh truck and trailer, then, go find a place to unhook, and take the truck back and tell them this is a second weigh. (Pretty sure that is how it works, the guys will correct me if I am wrong).
Also some sand and gravel places (Mulch, top soil, rock, etc.) that deliver or let you come in with an empty trailer will let you weigh too. You find these out in the "country" if you know where to look, or google them. LOL

The CAT scales are the best as you can put each axel of the 5th on separate scales and the tow veh will be on a 3rd scale . then unhook and weigh the truck and you have all the weights , each axel, the pin and now the truck , just subtract the truck out of the tounge and you have the true tounge weight.

I just got my rig weighed 2 weeks ago at a Pilot (Flying J). Very easy procedure. The scale was actually 3 separate slabs. One for the steering axel, one for the drive axel, and one for the 2 Monty axels. I didn't bother unhooking to get the truck weighed by itself, but was pleased with the total combined weight of the rig. Usually the highway dept in the town also has a scale. By the way, to get weighed at a Pilot, it's $10.

I use one of the local moving companies. They never charge me.

Moving companies and fruit companies, if any are around you, are another good place to get weighed. We have both nearby and have used them in the past.

Hmmm, Helmick, my local moving company charges $10 for as many weight measurements that you want as long as you don't need formal documentation (they just write all the measurements on a piece of paper).
I have used the local moving company (Temecula, CA). The first time I did just the truck, the second time I did close to triple of that (truck, rig and side measurements). Still $10 total.
It might depend on the company or the operator taking the measurements.

We have ours weighed at a couple of the Escapee parks that have scales. You get a weight for each individual wheel. Very helpful since those of us with side kitchens can have the axles weigh ok, but the individual wheels be over.
