Intervac air driven carpet power nozzle

Hi, has anyone used this power nozzle and if so, what do you think about it? The rechargeable one has been discontinued.

Thanks in advance.

we use the turbocat air powered head and it works fine. I would say that all air powered units should be close to the same.

Lees Country RV still shows the rechargeable power head online for $138 if you are still interested in that version.

Thanks for your responses. Terry decided on the air powered one and ordered it and the 30ft hose that Intervac says is needed.

I had one and finally quit using it. By the time the hose was dragged up into the bedroom the suction wasn't strong enough to get the beater to turn very fast and thus is didn't do a good job. Plus it kept getting debris wrapped inside and I'd have to take it all apart and use a small screwdriver or knife to cut the hair or carpet fibers out. Otherwise it slowed way down. It requires removing screws to take it apart. I'm still looking for something better. The original nozzle, non-beater variety, seems to work better than the beater we had although it's still not good enough in my opinion. Our vac is in the rear third of the coach in this 3400. It would be better if it were in the center as it wouldn't have to have the hose dragged so far and thus wouldn't lose as much suction. And this is even with a new bag and filter installed.
