Broken slide gear teeth. Finding part?

How do I look up part numbers for my trailer.2005 mountaineer 297rks.
I need a new slide gear (dont leave you frezzer door ajar when moving slide out ) Broke a tooth
I found this one but have no idea if it will fit. Is ther a parts guide or what

I don't know what you found as it doesn't show up. But if you go to the Files section and download the Lippert "Hydraulic Through Frame Owners Manual" (http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...?do=file&id=23) and go to page 10, it will tell you how to determine which gear Pack you need.

This is what I ordered recently for our rig. Due to a change Lippert made after our rig was made, our rig uses an 18 tooth gear in the gear pack, but the gear pack that Lippert sells now only comes with a 15 tooth gear installed, so you have to order the 18 tooth gear separately. If your gear pack is otherwise OK, you may be able to just order the 18 tooth gear, cut/grind off the roll pin in the shaft of the existing gear pack, and replace the broken gear. The new gear packs do not come with the roll pins installed and they are not needed in the gear pack, so not having the roll pin is not a problem.
