Leaking Window
I own a 2004 Mountaineer 335 RLBS Travel Trailer. I purchased it new. During a recent camping trip this summer, a strong storm came up with driving rain. The large window above the dining room table (slide room) started leaking. It was controllable, but frustrating just the same. I brought the rig back to the dealer and pointed out the area that we saw leaking. The mechanic did not fix that area, but said he fixed a different part of the window he saw leaking. Long story short, when we picked up the rig after supposedly having been fixed, I noticed the window had not bee repaired. The mechanic tried fixing this section of the window on the spot, but could not. He then told us that these windows have been causing problems for the Montana units. Of course the factory warranty has expired and the service manager said he contacted Keystone and they will not do anything about the window. Has anyone had trouble with their windows leaking or is this something the mechanic just said because he could not fix the problem? As you can imagine, I am fealing a little frustated with Keystone right now. Comments are appreciated.
