Clean Electrical connections

I posted this under Maintenance.

Short story the slide pump motor would quite running under a load. Thinking the worse I was ready to buy a new system for $1000.00 plus shipping. NCFISCHER told me to clean the connections. That is normally the problem.

I found the battery positive connection loose and lightly corroded. Yet it worked well enough to operate the landing legs.

So, check and clean the electrical connections.

John, just read the one under Maintenance. Man what an easy fix! As you know I'm new this RVing with a Monty, and of course I never dreamed there was so much to keep check on. But I guess that's all part of the life of owning one. It's kind of scarry after reading all the problems and troubles people are having.

Congratulations, ONERUNNING, on your choice of RV. That being said... this forum takes the "scary thing" out of owning and taking care of your RV!

This is THE BEST Forum! Everyone is respectful and encourages each other in their quest to "fix" an issue!

Welcome and enjoy! (Most of all...RELAX)
