Subscriptions Question.
Some MOC members have reported a problem with the subscription feature.
In particular in the Spring Rally section the Category, the Forum and the topic have all had the subscription feature activated. These members cannot see this feature and thus cannot get notices when a post is made.
If you are having this problem please post here and let me know.
Thank you.

I see the "Subscribe" option for the Forum, but *NOT* for any of the Topics. I know I was subscribed earlier to the "Sticky: ANNUAL MOC NORTH AMERICAN SPRING RALLY 2009 " Topic, but that too has disappeared.
Weird!
On Edit: I am subscribed to the Topic I mentioned above as I am getting e-mails telling me of the all the updates. But I don't see an option to "Unsubscribe" from that Topic or to "Subscribe" to any of the other Topics.

This has been my experience also. But it is not only limited to The Rally section for me. It is in each place that I read (which is most everywhere!)
Thank you for your help.

I used to use the subscription feature but find that if I just click on the Active Topics each time I log on I get to see the latest for every thread.

Problem fixed for me!
Thanks to some persistence and RVWheels help, I now have the buttons for subscriptions. My subscriptions under "my subscriptions" are gone, but they are easily replaced.
On the main board, in the upper right-hand corner, there is a link to "unsubscribe from this board". By clicking on that link, and restarting the MOC forum, it now says, "subscribe to this board", and I now have the "Check here to subscribe to this topic" in all of the places I had it previously.
If anyone needs a better explanation, please let me know and I will be happy to help.
I understand that the forum does not allow the subscription button on all topics.

Based on Robbie's post, I went looking for the "unsubscribe from this board" option. I only found a "My Subscriptions" clickable link in with the normal choices (like Home, Profile, Register, Active Topics, etc.) on the page presented after sign on. Clicking on it got me a list of "subscriptions" and a choice to delete all of them (all two I had). Once I did that I found the "Subscribe" option was once again available in each of the Spring Rally topics.
Yet another Forumco oddity to keep us guessing.

Carl,
Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing. The button link I am describing is on the "ALL Forums" page. See below. It will say "Subscribe to this board"/ or "unsubscribe to this board", just above "There are 16034 posts in 1497 Topics.......". You want it to look like this example. Seems to be fuzzy programmer's logic, but that's the way it is, you know those programmers better than me !

To clarify the "Unsubscribe" feature........ At the top or bottom of a topic you will have your normal Command lines. One of the commands will be "My subscriptions". If you click that it will list all your subscriptions. And to the right will be the command... "Unsubscribe". If you click that you will no longer receive that subscription. And the "Subscribe to this topic" command line should show up again.
