Need help cleaning the oven...
If you're in the area...uh, no, what I need is some ideas on the best cleaner to use. I've been scrubbing for a couple of hours and still can't get all of the yuckies off the sides of the oven.

Both. I scrubbed the microwave until clean, but the gas oven still has hardened grease drippings on the sides.

At this point, I would have to yell for assistance from DW!!!! Or check the manual?????, I know the latter goes against every Tim the Tool Man lesson we have received but............ Boy, that was a lot of help, wasn't it????

Hot water dispersed with a little dish washing detergent and elbow grease. The hot water dissolves the grease faster. There are different types of scouring pads. I typically carry just the green ones from SAM's and have to remember to scrub lightly on delicate surfaces or painted surfaces. They make other, less abrasive pads. I think the white ones are less abrasive and can be picked up at most Wally Worlds.
DW says, use windex. See, my solution is more complicated.
