Electrical Outlet Behind Sofa

We just purchased a 2013 3100RL. Why in world would you put an electrical outlet on the left side rear near the floor of the enclosure for the refrigerator and then make it inaccessible because of the fold out couch???

Because the people that design them don't use them. Imagine that!

X2. We don't have near enough outlets and to have a couple in places you would never use them is a giant PITA.

Could it be in that location to use for the air pump when you put air in the Air mattress Hide-A-Bed sofa?

I agree that we need a better location for that particular outlet! Trying to get to it, even with the couch out, requires acrobatic tricks and gymnastic moves that they forgot to include in the manual. It should have been higher, or I don't know, just in a place that is not such a PITA!

Possibly!! But ya can't plug anything into it. I will be looking for a washer type plug that is at a 90 degree angle to use.

Or better yet, call Ozz to the rescue, he can come up with a mod for you to make it all good.

That design came from the "office of Diabolical planning."

Originally, the High Country 343RL had an outlet in the bedroom behind the sliding door to the bathroom. No problem when the door is closed, but then when you want to get out, well, darn it, not happening! Since we had our Monty custom ordered, we asked about it and they did change it.

CORattler is right - people who design these do not necessarily use them.

Dennis, too funny!

Try one of these, get the power where you can use it, you can find them without a GFI, you might have to install a new flat plug on one, also a power strip with a flat angle plug (Lowe's) even better a power strip with surge protection built in

The red one is only $20.00 Amazon, I think.
