It don't matter if its a Montana or any other higher end trailer, motorhome etc. they all use the same wire nuts, the same axles just different in size, the same appliances, frames the same only size changes. These things are huge in most cases. Our roads are not what one would say in great shape. There's a lot of shake, rattle, and roll going on back there when going down the roads so its to be expected that things will loosen up, things will break. Something that big isn't suppose to be going down the road.
Then theres the build quality to consider. Some are better than others and as in anything else you get what you pay for. But quality control is something that the RV industry needs to work on, or should I say at least have. No way should some of these units even leave the factory if there was any kind of quality control at all. And I mean ALL brands. We are part of this problem to, because we want more for less because its our hard earned dollars that we are spending and we demand it. Its a viscous circle and I am always in hope that what happens on these forums are read by the manufacturers.
In the meantime we continue to keep our rigs problem free as possible and this forum among the ones I participate in is the most informative, friendly and respectful. And I want to thank you all for your time.
