Cache Creek, BC

We're heading to Alaska on Monday morning (from Spokane, WA) - anyone have a campground recommendation for the Cache Creek area?

There is a nice campground in Spence's Bridge, BC just 30 miles south of Cache Creek called Acacia Grove.
I stay there when the Thompson River opens for Steelhead.

My friend lives by Charlie Lake and he said the frost is coming out of the ground now. Have a great trip.

Stayed in Cache Creek last summer with our 2955. The RV Park was called Brookside Campsite. It's located in Cache Creek and is full service. Last summer the rate was $39.20, Cdn.

Thanks very much! Wish us luck - this is our first time up the AlCan. Our youngest daughter , son-in-law and 2 kids are moving to Anchorage, so we're tagging along to provide moral support and a motel-on-wheels!

We live in Fort St.John, BC. Pretty much summer here this weekend. +22C. There are farmers working the fields in several areas. Many, many American rigs already ahead of you on the highway north. Shouldn't be an issue. However it is not uncommon to get snow in the north in May & June. Just be prepared.
