Lady Lake or The Villages, FL

Can anyone recommend a good campground where we could stay for a month or so near Lady Lake, FL or The Villages, FL (These are both near each other North of Orlando and South of Ocala in central Florida. Thanks in advance for your help. John

We are staying at Southern Oaks between The Villages and Ocala. This winter. There is a park in The Villages but it is a little more expensive and adult age.

We are an hour south of Orlando, 1 hr from West Palm Beach and 1/2 hour from the beach at Stuart. Come and visit our place in the sun

Near Lady Lake there is a campground called Blue Parrot,I have been snow birding for 5 years now and have stayed at many campgrounds. The Blue Parrot by far was the worst campground I stayed at.I won't go into details because it would be too lengthy.
A good one is called Recreation Plantation RV Resort but you will prabably have to make reservations ahead.

Agree with the Blue Parrot statements. You may want to check out Olde Mill Stream RV Resort in Umatilla whickh is about 25 minutes from Lady Lake.

We own our lot in Silver Springs which is about 20 miles north of The Villages. We go to the Villages at least once a week just because we like it there.. There are several places for rent at a reasonable price at our park. Here eis a link http://www.wildernessrvparkestates.com

Ditto on the comments about the Blue Parrot....we sayed there for a couple nights a few years ago. I would take the Walmart parking lot over staying there again.
