rocky mountain campground

We are planning on 7 days this july in yellowstone. I booked a site at Rocky Mountain Campground in Gardiner, MT. Has anyone stayed there? How was it? It looks very nice.

Thanks

We have made 2 trips to Yellowstone. For the first, we stayed at Fishing Bridge in the Park. Great location. All the basic services but a satellite TV service would have been nice--something I now have. For the second we stayed at West Yellowstone, MT at Grizzly RV Park--5 star outfit! So--my recommendation is to stay somewhere near the middle of the park--it cuts down on alot of driving. Fishing Bridge and Grizzly met those criteria. Best of all--have a great trip and have a blast!

And a second for Grizzly in West Yellowstone. The town is just a short walk out of the gate for both the RV park and the National Park. Lots of nice shops, fly fishing stores, and eateries to make it almost a visit by itself.
Remember, anything you see in Yellowstone is a drive, it is a very large park! We would set up one day for each loop. Four days just wasn't enough. Tetons is south near Jackson, and is recommended.
