Added Washer & Dryer
Yahoo! "Betty Big Sky" now has her very own washer and dryer. Fox RV Repair in Middlebury, IN installed our new babies (Splendide Ariston stackables) today, and I told Bob when we got back to the campground, "Strip! I want to try out the new washer and dryer!" But, all I got was a bunch of dirty socks. Anyway, they work great and I'm so happy to be free of the laundromats.

Yep, that's the set up we have and it does the job. It does vibrate the unit on spin cycle, but that's the nature of things. We would not be without it. Congratulations!!

Glad you like it. I did a load yesterday in ours after flushing out the lines to our washer. If you remember last year ours tipped over and I had to repair it. Well I ordered the parts replaced them and everything is working just fine.

Congratulations Pam on the new addition to your rig. You will be surprised at not only the money savings you will realize, but the time saving is priceless (at least on our part with the kids). Being able to turn the laundry on and leave the rig is a great time saver. DW loves our stackables beyond desciption.

It's funny but most of the Ladies want a W/D but not mine. She would just as soon go to the laundromat and git-r-dun in just over an hour than messing with multiple loads. In fact, as I type this she is at the laundromat.
If we are staying in a CG for a week or more we always check out the CGs laundry and if that ain't up to par we search out the area.

I might like one if we did not have to consider the weight factor. Also, there is not a lot of clothes storage in the 3455SA. As we now live in it waiting to take off and travel, we need the space for clothes. So - will continue with the laundramats. Such is life - always a trade off.

We're still not sure if we want to install a washer/dryer. I also feel that going to the laundromat will be quicker and get it all done at once. And...I don't want to give up the entry closet on our 3400RL, which was one of the selling points to me! When we actually go fulltime, we want to get a small chest freezer to put in the closet, which will still give us the top half for our "stuff." So I guess it's "different strokes for different folks!"
