Remote not working

Hawkpat Montana Fan Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: Wichita Posts: 113 M.O.C. #11612	Remote not working 2012 3400 with the 12 button LCI remote. It worked fine yesterday but today does not. Changed battery but don't think I'm getting a good connection. What is the purpose of the small spring inside? How should it be placed. Thanks for any help.
