Niagara on the Lake RV Parks

Hi folks, we are looking for recamindations for RV Parks in the area of Niagara Falls in the Niagara on the Lake area. We want to be on the Canadin side. Also dose the Maid of the Mist sale from this side? We plan on being there in September.
Thanks for any info.

do you have your passports up to date? also I believe you need some type of shot paperwork for your dog. I can check to see where the maid of the mist loads for you. They just made some changes in the past year.

You need to load from the U.S. side. Go to there web site for Sept. hours.
Not sure on Canadian camping, but there is an KOA on Grand Island NY. under miles from falls.

We are making a PA to Niagara Falls to Quebec trip at the end of August thru Labor Day. We only use KOA'S for overnight but the KOA in Canada....Lundy Lane. ..looked good. We have reservations there.

Yes our passports are up to date. We will get an up to date health cert for the dog just before we leave home. We know they are good for 30 days. We are going to be spending a week in Thunder Bay Ont. with some sunbirds who we know from here in Havasu, then on to the falls. We want to stay on the Ca side as everyone says that Niagara on the lake is great.

We were there two years ago.We stayed about 45 miles away at a provincial park campground towards Hamilton. It was nice but too far out. There are several campgrounds right at the fall on the Canadian side. Wish we would have stayed there. Don't know if the boat to the falls on the Canadian side is called Maid of the Mist but if not it is an identical experience as we were right beside boats from the U.S. side. Having been to both sides I feel the Canadian side has much more to offer. Jim

I stayed at the KOA on Lundy Lane on the Canadian side in 2007. Maybe the information I have is no longer pertinent, I don't know. However the campground was well organized, all pull-throughs IIRC. They had a shuttle service to the Falls and surrounding area for free that picked you up right in front of the campground. It ran well into the night. If I were to go back up there, I'd have no problem staying there again.

Yes, it is Maid of The Mist on both sides! DW is a Canadian and I learned 42 years ago the CA side is far nicer than the NY side.

I think we have decided (DW decided) we are going to stay at the KOA Lundy Lane. I will be calling for resavations and to ask for more information.
Thanks so much for all your help. Got to love this group.
